Where is my data stored? Is XICTRAQ® GDPR-compliant?
XICTRAQ® is hosted in Germany; your data stays within the EU. Analytics are cookieless and use no US analytics services. Data processing (Art. 28 GDPR) is governed in § 9a of our terms — no separate DPA is needed.
Do I need a cookie banner for the analytics?
Our analytics set no tracking cookies; visits are told apart by a pseudonymous daily identifier, and the visitor statistics contain no IP addresses (the access log of the web server records them as with every request; retention periods: privacy policy, section 3). For plain traffic measurement a consent banner is therefore usually not required. The legal assessment in each case remains with you.
