Does the tracking work without JavaScript?
In short
Yes. A no-script pixel records views even when JavaScript is disabled; such traffic is classified separately as machine/bot.
If JavaScript fails or is disabled, an embedded pixel ensures the view is still counted. The source (JavaScript or pixel) is stored along with it.
Since accesses without JavaScript often come from bots, they are classified separately and kept out of the human metrics. Via an accumulated score, corresponding patterns feed into bot detection.
