Where are the servers located?
In the EU — on servers controlled by us in data centres in Germany (Nuremberg, Falkenstein) and Finland (Helsinki). This keeps the data within the EU and subject to European data protection law.
The platform and databases run on servers controlled by us in data centres in Germany (Nuremberg, Falkenstein); in addition a measurement node is located in Helsinki/Finland for geographically distributed availability checks. All locations are within the EU; there is no transfer to insecure third countries in the hosting layer. If you use the optional AI features (AI chat assistant and AI visibility), individual data is transferred to Anthropic (USA) on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and without use for training (see the privacy policy for details).
Supplementary resources such as fonts and the tracker are also served from the platform’s own infrastructure, so that no connections to foreign hosts arise when a page is loaded.
