Frequently asked questions
Are cookies or auth headers forwarded?
No — Authorization, Cookie and Host headers are blocked for security reasons. The tool sends its own requests from the XICTRAQ server.
How large can the response body be?
The body is displayed truncated to 64 KB and then marked as truncated. The full size is shown next to it when the server states it in the Content-Length header.
Which HTTP methods are supported?
GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD and OPTIONS. CONNECT and TRACE are not allowed for security reasons.
Can I send JSON in the body?
Yes — add the header "Content-Type: application/json" and write the JSON in the body field.
From which IP does the request come?
From the XICTRAQ server in Nuremberg (Germany). If your firewall/WAF blocks the request, whitelist our IP or user agent "XICTRAQ-cURL/1.0".
Is the request logged?
No — neither URL nor body nor headers are stored. Processing in memory, immediate response.
